Mathew Embry MFA is an internationally recognized and award-winning documentary filmmaker and television producer, writer, and director.
In conjunction with incredible teams, his recent directing credits include Living Proof, an official TIFF selection and distributed worldwide by Amazon Prime, Painkiller: Inside the Opioid Crisis distributed by TELUS VOD with over 2 million YouTube views, and Global Warning distributed by Super Channel.
Embry has directed projects with and interviewed A-List talent that include Harrison Ford, Natalie Portman, Oprah Winfrey, Matt Damon, Theo Fleury, Jann Arden, Roddy Piper, and Ian Tyson. Embry’s work has sold-out theatres in numerous countries and has won multiple awards in Canada and the United States of America.
Embry has also produced, written, and directed non-fiction programming for CBC, HBO Canada, CTV, PBS, YES TV, Animal Planet, Telefilm, TELUS, SHAW, OLN, Amazon Prime and Al Jazeera.
Holly Dupej, PhD, MA, is a creative professional with over a decade of experience in film, television, and advertising. Her many roles have led to overseeing every stage of the production cycle, from pitching to scripting; from producing to post-production and delivery.
Before working in the creative industries, Holly earned a SSHRC-funded doctorate in English Literature. Her academic career honed her research and writing skills – skills that have contributed to her work on successful documentaries, including The Former Life of Amber Valley (CSA Winner, Best Digital Series, 2017), Painkiller: Inside the Opioid Crisis (CSA Nominee, Best Digital Program, 2020) and Dark Cloud: The High Cost of Cyberbullying (CSA Nominee, Best Digital Program, 2021).
Holly has also been a part of writing and producing teams for educational and short documentary content, including Let’s Talk English (OMNI) and Secret Alberta (TELUS Originals).
In addition to telling compelling stories, Holly enjoys playing an integral part in creative teams, helping others to collaborate productively and create meaningful work.
Lindsay Meli has distinguished herself as a seasoned film and television showrunner, director, writer, and producer. Her international portfolio includes titles like Celebrity Style Story, Casey Anthony: Her Friends Speak, Expedition Earth, and her recent credits notably highlight her role as a writer and producer on the feature-length documentary Living Proof 2.
Lindsay's depth of experience encompasses a diverse range of genres, from pop-culture and true-crime to corporate and feature-length documentaries. Her work has been showcased on renowned networks such as E! Canada, REELZ Channel, Super Channel, CosmoTV, CMT, Cooking Channel, YES TV, National Geographic, and CBC.
Whether on the red carpet engaging with stars like Rachel McAdams, Kevin Hart, Bradley Cooper, or capturing profound stories behind the scenes, Lindsay's innate skill in narrative and genuine storytelling consistently captivates her audience.
Rooted in her foundational education, Lindsay earned a BFA from the University of Lethbridge and additionally holds a postgraduate diploma in Broadcast Media from Humber College.
Allan Thrush has been crafting stories in the edit suite for over twenty-five years. His eclectic experience has ranged from creating content for Alberta Ford, OLN, and the Alberta Ballet to editing feature documentaries. His work has been showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival and has been broadcast across both Canada and the United States.
Before joining Muster Point Productions, Allan ran a successful editorial production house, where in the first year of operation, he delivered 26 x 30 min episodes of television, 2 x 90 min documentaries for a U.S. broadcaster, a 60min Canadian documentary, and a successful broadcast commercial advertising campaign.
A storyteller at heart, Allan finds just as much pleasure crafting long-form documentaries as he does working on television series and commercials.
Mykola Pelikhov is an accomplished film director from Ukraine, currently residing in Calgary, Alberta. Mykola recently relocated from Riga, Latvia, where he spent the last eighteen months filming scripted television programs in various roles. His strengths in narrative storytelling and scripted drama are evident in his work found on Ukraine’s most important networks (1+1, STB, TET, 2+2).
Mykola's journey in the film industry began in Kyiv, where he worked on corporate shoots, music videos, documentaries, and short films, steadily progressing from a script supervisor to a director. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with major TV channels and production companies in Ukraine, including "Artforms" and "1+1 Production." Mykola looks forward to the Canadian chapter of his career in cinema and video production.
